So the story goes like this...... ch:1........so on .....ch:300hope u got that one ????????so the story here is a bit peculiar and i dunno but i find that much intersting than some of i've read b4(wont give an e.g. though!)the story till the 3rd century is well proped, quality designed but after sometime the protagonist seems somewhat underpowerd considering his situations but that ain't so, his powers are just not that matured to the point of the current word. Also the background, fight scenes and the pov are top notch. so if the readers that r abt to strt it by asuming they'll get a broken op character from the start u will be disappointed. Give this novel a read for some chs b4 judging and i think this will b filling for everyone's plate.?
This story is pretty interesting and nice, good plot, nice character (But kinda sucks, not to know how the character looks like) and the idea of an NPC as a maincharacter is also very nice. (Sorry, if my grammar is incorrect, but english isn't my language)
It's a great cultivation novel, with promising Storyline. The author should consider using adequate paragraphing, by writing different conversations on different lines.

Pretty cool story, and I'm not too into thrillers, it's an over all interesting concept. Other than your grammatical mistakes, and poof choice of words here and there, it's a good read.Keep up your work, and practice english a bit ;)

Something to say about the book name, the cover and the classification.Please don’t drop because of its cover. I strongly advise the translator or someone in charge to change the cover. I feel like the cover suggests that the content is related to Cthulhu Mythos but actually there is no relation at all.Please don’t drop because of the book name. Many Chinese reader said that they skipped the book at the first see of the book name but found it exciting unexpectedly when they dropped it somehow.Two main parts constitute the plot: the first is the landlord and his tenants’ daily life, which exhibits a lot of humor; the second is the work as an inspector, where multiple civilizations and races in the universe are descripted and there existed a lot of moving stories about their fight against the disaster as a human.As for the first part, obviously the language and culture differences destroyed many humors but there is still something making Chinese and foreign readers alike laugh. ‘The record of unusual creature’ comes from this part. In qidian, the book name, combined with a very distinctive cover (the author just use the name with white board as its cover) suggests that the plot is a comedy about unusual world and creature. The second part, usually considered as the most exciting part makes the novel more resemble a sci-fi. Actually, it is classified as a sci-fi in Qidian. To descript this part, a more suitable book name would be ‘a contract from the god’ or ‘a Xiling inspector’s work in multiple universes’. But, I suppose, for commercial reason, the names serious as such are not adapted and the reader attracted by the first part wouldn’t drop the book because the second part is so exciting and attracting.But that is the case is for Chinese version. Now that many humors are spoiled, I think a more suitable book name for the second part would be better. The translated book doesn’t have to have a name the same as the original one anyway. I understand why the book is classified as a magic realism. The novel is nothing like a sic-fi in the first 200 chapters. But it is neither something like a magic realism in the remaining story. Hopefully there would be somebody in charge considering my suggestions.

This is by far my new favorite web novel on this site. The lead character is very interesting and he is very funny sometimes. Lots of action. I think he is going to uncover a lot of mysteries in this new world. I am excited about it.
I really enjoyed this story, it was almost a favourite, almost. Until chapter 36. Hey, let me just take in a random disciple. Hey, let me just teach her my perfect drawing form. Hey, let me just use my valuable time from cultivation to teach another person when I am dangerously weak. Hey, let me just follow this old man's plan when he is clearly using me for just 60K. Also after he talked **** to me. Very nice of the MC to take it all lying down. Lost all respect. I trusted the translator and spent some passes to read further but it seems like they lied since it didn't get better. What a disappointment of a story, also from the reviews of the people who read further it seems like this flops hard, no surprise after this development.
