The author does a good job of describing things but the first part is confusing since there are too many points of view and you're thrown into it without explanation. With some polishing, especially with the dialogue, I think the premise can carry the story, since it's interesting. Good job.
Okay I need to talk about this one scene because it absolutely wrecked me. You know how some books throw in emotional moments that feel manufactured? This one didn't. Song Yi making hundreds of jin of cured meat every single year, letting it spoil, then making more, just in case her daughter ever decided to come home. That's not plot convenience—that's the kind of quiet, devastating parental love that sticks with you. And then Mo Zhicheng's version of an apology isn't words. It's a bank card with five hundred thousand yuan and a note. Ten characters. No explanation, no "I was wrong," no dramatic confrontation. Just: here. Take it. We trust you. The line that got me was when the text said, "The love parents had for their daughter was always quiet, and always without reservation." I literally sat there like—yeah. Yeah, that's exactly it. That's the kind of love that doesn't need grand gestures because it's been there the whole time, waiting. Mo Fei's reaction was so understated too. She just stood there in a daze. No tears, no speech. Just absorbed it and kept moving. Which honestly felt more real than any meltdown would have. And the kids—Jianian and Jiayue—they're eight years old and they already know how to read the room. They bring food to the grandparents, they massage Song Yi's shoulders, they call Grandpa over to see the tea set. They've been raised with so much warmth despite everything, and watching them finally sit at a table with their grandparents after eight years of separation... man. The whole family dynamic shifted in this chapter without anyone saying "let's fix this." They just... did.

It’s not a bad story over good story… I love how the main characters overcome her problems and become stronger and confident. I also love happy ending.
