I made it to maybe chapter 12. Started out good but around chapter 10, it becomes a different story almost. Not sure if it’s supposed to be a memory or what.
Really interesting story, nice character dynamic.
The FL’s personality is simple, but at least she’s giving us something to work with :') I do appreciate seeing her tackle her own issues without relying on the ML, but often the solutions seem a bit too contrived, like they only work because she’s the FL, lacking solid logic.
The novel had great potential for some satisfying face-slapping and revenge scenes, but unfortunately, it falls short and ends up being another cliché where the "FL has to rescue the naive ML from the clutches of the evil green tea b*tch." (I’d say let him get fooled! An ideal ML wouldn’t be dumb enough to fall for the act in the first place, IMO.)
Spoiler
I’m relieved that the ML ends up alone in all three arcs I managed to finish before finally giving up. He definitely doesn’t deserve the FL.
The author's other novel is much better, it is called The rise of the P*rv*rt Primordial
And tedious, people just want something simple and casual from webnovels
I completely agree with this; I've just finished the latest chapter. It's truly one of the best novels I've ever read. The experience is even more enjoyable if you've read various cultivation novels and can recognize those common themes.
Thank you fellow daoist
the important thing is to always try to keep using english and one day you’ll be fluent :)

The fml is a menace, she can scheme and manipulate people with both eyes closed and the ml is a decent guy too
The translation is awfully hard but after a while you will get used to it
