Bad plot and poorly written.
The translator deserves credit for their effort, but oh my, this was an unpleasant read. In the prologue, the main character (MC) had a clear objective and purpose, despite his overpowered nature, which could have been entertaining. However, the introduction of the male lead (ML) changed everything.
ML forcefully imposed himself on MC to a point where the sexual encounters were violently abusive. It's not consensual sex; it's assault. The power dynamic was utterly disturbing. The narrative does not improve – ML is portrayed as a psychopath, sex addict, and even a rapist due to his paranoia and insecurity about losing MC. It made me extremely uncomfortable.
Worse still, MC inexplicably developed feelings for ML, despite the negative portrayal of ML aside from his physical appearance. The story focuses on how MC endures ML's torture, altering his body to cope, and sacrificing his career and personal life to cater to ML's whims. He even gets a tattoo without consent.
This novel, marketed as a romance, felt more like a horror or psychological thriller to me. After finishing the first arc, I couldn't continue due to concerns for my mental well-being. I held onto a glimmer of hope for a resolution, but alas, it seemed to worsen even in death. I'm not willing to explore further from this harrowing start.
The treatment of the secondary characters is equally disturbing, making it a cautionary tale. If you're still curious, proceed at your own risk. I, for one, am done with this book.
As I write this review, I am currently on Chapter 1200+ (Story of Ling and Heng). Here's a brief gripe:
I'm contemplating whether to continue with the series, as it's becoming somewhat exhausting. I generally prefer finished stories, and I've been eagerly awaiting the tale of Doctor Qin and Miss Shi. Unfortunately, life has let me down by not providing a complete story for that couple. Despite my patience, I've been skimming through numerous passages in hopes of finding clues about their fate, but now I fear their story might not be concluded. This uncertainty is causing me to reconsider continuing the novel.
Now, onto the actual review:
In terms of plot and characters, so far (excluding Qin Siting and Shi Niange, whose story I haven't reached), the storyline isn't particularly unique – it's similar to others where a female protagonist重生, reflecting on past mistakes. The male lead, Mo Jingshen, is a typical character – cold, domineering, fiercely loyal to his wife, possessive, and strikingly handsome. However, his warmth is exclusive to his wife, Ji Nuan. Ji Nuan isn't portrayed as the genius everyone assumes; she's made foolish choices even in her second life. The story often involves men taking advantage of her looks, which she uses to her advantage. The relationship between Ji Nuan and Mo Jingshen doesn't excite me much due to the predictability of their eventual reunion. There's a lack of character growth, with most developments happening early on, and their personalities only slightly evolving post-rebirth.

The timing of the divorce feels forced and harsh. When Mo Jingshen abruptly wants a divorce after Ji Nuan's recent hardships, like a miscarriage, her father's depression, and his own coma, it's unsatisfying. His comment about life not reversing doesn't justify the cruelty. I'd have preferred a more nuanced approach.
Additionally, there are disturbing scenes, such as the rape-like incidents in Feng Ling and Li Nanheng's story.
In the beginning, Mo Jingshen's "punishment" of Ji Nuan is controversial, but given the circumstances, it can be understood. However, I don't condone it. Ji Nuan's actions, drugging her husband, led to her consequences.
This book isn't suitable for younger readers, with extensive sexual content and frequent use of aphrodisiacs, which I find uncomfortable.
Moving on to Li Nanheng and Feng Ling's story, their initial chapters are engaging. Li Nanheng is a contrasting yet similar character to Mo Jingshen, strong-willed and unrefined compared to Mo. Feng Ling is aloof and skilled in martial arts. I appreciate Li Nanheng's acceptance of his feelings for Feng Ling, even before knowing she's a woman. However, his overbearing nature angers both characters at times. Despite this, his gentleness and protectiveness are admirable.

The story of Ling and Heng brought joy initially, but now I'm feeling bored. Both characters have made irrational decisions. I hope their story concludes soon.
Leaving Li Nanheng without hearing his explanation for Feng Ling's removal from the base is unjust. He only wanted to fulfill Feng Ling's late father's wish and ensure her safety. Li Nanheng's actions after Feng Ling's expulsion, while understandable due to emotional upheaval, are unforgivable.
Overall, the story is decent, but I crave a resolution for the Qin Ge couple or else my interest might wane significantly.

This is actually fantastic! It initially appears to be a typical historical reincarnation love story, but it stands out as exceptional. The protagonist, Jiang Suizhou, is one of my favorite characters - he's intelligent without being overly powerful. The interactions between him and his love interest, Huo Wujiu, are adorable and endearing. The plot stays grounded without unnecessary drama, and the romance develops in a smooth and realistic manner. I highly recommend this; it's a delightful, lighthearted, and enjoyable read.
This is one of my all-time favorite novels with an endless narrative. The story begins with a dire warning to Earth followed by a massive disappearance of people. The main character (MC) and the love interest (ML) initially cross paths at the start. Both possess extraordinary features, as they have long hair and do not conform to typical human norms. The MC originates from a comic background, while ML turns into a human NPC due to his personal wish fulfillment. Their encounter is a re-meeting, as the MC suffers from amnesia and both recall their genuine初次相遇.
The novel combines thrilling action, intricate reasoning, and captivating storytelling. It's a truly intriguing read. The supporting characters are well-developed too, each having their unique stories and pairings. However, one character, Chen Sufeng, tugs at the heartstrings. He tragically sacrifices himself for the revival of his crush and brother, who were romantically involved at the wish center, solely because of someone else's misdeed.
I have a question that will determine if games continues to read this novel the mc, will he remain as stupid throughout the novel? (currently I'm at chapter 140)

TDG is better if we're talking about the whole plot, cultivation ranking/system and etc, with a bit of romance. On the other hand, NAS isn't that good. Cultivation is kinda fast but not enough to be said that he is OP, and he also relies a lot with his pets and friends. MC is not decisive and not cunning enough (he often ask for direction to how he should plan next step) and always need his family, friends or lovers to sacrifice themselves in order for him to grow/progress which is pure stupid and ridiculous. Harem make the MC a fool. Also the translations are pretty inconsistent once you get around the mid part, if you can bear with it then do so.

The story is being divided into some part with different lead. The first story of the reborn FL is quite nice, though the FL is a little bit disappointing but yeah, it's not like you will automatically became Smart after death, there is a lot of frustrating moment but there is also a grown part too. This novel is somehow too focused on making the FL the weak character so can be dominated by ML, I'm kinda disturbed by how there is a lot of forced intimate scene too.

Also the Ou min and Yu lili story is just way too harsh to. They are just way too toxic, I can't finish nor able to read it in detail, just skip and read the important part too, my fragile heart cannot accept the way their relationship goes on, it's just a big no for me
