The prologue spooked the hell out of me. Spooky and fantasy, the perfect combo. Love the way scenery and figures are defined. Can't wait to complete this book. Good job author

I didn't realize just how alluring an ancient vampire could really be until I dove into Talen's past and had my heart broken and stolen by the depth of soul in this character. Everleigh has such a gift for creating these characters with so many layers you can't believe they're not real.
