This narrative is a cliche, but my boredom led me to give it a 2. If you're into this genre or simply seeking a dull read, I suppose you might want to consider it. However, I'm done with this now.
One thing that bothers me is Al's sudden love interest. The story itself moves quickly, but the motivation for Al's instant affection doesn't make sense. After seeing a change in the protagonist following a pond incident, Al falls in love without a clear reason – it feels forced, especially given the hints throughout the story. The main character also seems oblivious to his feelings, which is frustrating.
Moreover, the MC acknowledges the unfairness of his character's fate, knowing the person he eventually falls for will cause trouble. Instead of focusing on his own situation, he blindly tries to change Al's tyrannical rule. It's disappointing, considering the complex world with numerous factions and unknown variables.
I've seen reviews mentioning how the MC starts off strong but turns naive and dependent after being poisoned. Fortunately, I haven't reached that part, so I'm glad to stop. In all honesty, I can't help but feel frustrated for wasting my time, partly due to my own desire for a quick read.

The narrative could potentially be engaging or enjoyable with well-developed characters, but the pacing is severely lacking. At this point, after 90 chapters, the mysteries remain largely unsolved and the readers are still in the dark about the true identities of the protagonists – it's a disappointing pace that fails to keep the momentum going.
I deeply desire for this novel to be exceptional, as the concepts are strong, the characters captivating, and the narrative thrilling. However, I believe it falls short in terms of competent writing, preventing me from fully appreciating its potential. The plot development left me exasperated, as it seemed to endlessly revolve around an unchanging status quo. No significant growth occurred in the protagonists' connections post-midpoint, which is typically a favorite aspect of mine, particularly when it comes to the main character. Despite feeling同情 for the protagonist, my empathy waned with each chapter filled with unnecessary setbacks. I hold hope that future developments will improve the story's drama, as I am drawn to the initial concept. Unfortunately, my patience has run thin, and I cannot continue reading at this point.
To be honest, the beginning is decent, but it loses momentum as it progresses. The story becomes rather dull, despite its fluffy nature. After reading nearly 200 chapters, I still find the 'cute little bun' character grating; he comes across as a one-dimensional, overly-sweet character, often referred to as a Baby Sue.
If the plot captivates you, it might provide a calming read, but don't anticipate any profound depth or unexpected plot twists. It's more of a surface-level entertainment.
