1st to review, yay I feel accomplished now??. I'm looking forward to this since it seems to be a Modern harem story which I've wanted to see for a while now. I hope this one is worth my time. I've been wondering why Chinese authors love writing story's about the MC gaining X-ray vision, There seems to be a lot of those types of story's.
First staring is good but sometimes book look good but between suddenly war broke and biologycal weapons and unrelated ending chapter I ? writer is child under 20 and Bran under 10 Year go to doctor
Racist and repetitive novel. MC is a borderline rapist, and starting a couple hundred chapters in the author keeps inserting a racist and nationalistic China first everyplace else second ideology. Foreign or non-asian characters are only introduced as enemies and in extremely racist ways.Additionally the MC's "romances" with several of the heroines essentially amounts to repeated attempted rapes, groping women who are asleep, etc... Overall despite a pretty good start the author is scum and it leaks into this novel.

Finally caught up with the plot! Okay. First things first. Dawson Blight. He is the best character. Has only like... Three lines but the dude is a badass. Okay I like the story. Yeah that's basically it? It is a slow burn clique anime story full of jokes, and action. It is silly and has some really great moments. So far I don't really have anything I hate about the story? Others might hate it with how the story flows, but I think it is great!

Although, i am giving this a high score. That is only because of my honesty regarding the parameters regarding this website rating system. This story has done something that has completely turned me off from further continuing. The protagonist receives a massive nerf of 5 years without any form of mana/ magic. No matter the reason he received this, i just rubs me the wrong way. Not to mention he is immediately challenged by the pursuer of his ex-fiancé and suffers a humiliating defeat and says this is a blessing in a disguise saying thanks to this he now realises his weak foundations. If it weren’t for this and maybe a bit with what happened with his master, i would have enjoyed reading this. So rather than continuing to read whilst feeling irritated, i am dropping this here. In the earlier chapters when Rui takes third exam to join the academy, he gets attached by a older girl Fae who is also direct disciple of some sage, and gets defeated but our mc doesn't show any anger towards her despite his all efforts until now to become a martial artists. That was too unreal and more unreal is that if it were a boy who did it, would he had the same feelings. I don't care of he gets accepted or not latter. I don't see gender equality and appreciate emotions in him. he is more like a monk already and it becomes more monotonouse and boring when you know how the charector will act without any brain. its more like bland food.
