A new story, let's see how it will unfold
This was extremely lame.
idon't want to stop reading but i've finished all the chapters, I want moreee!!!!
So far, I'm still on Chapter 24... I really want to read ahead, but unfortunately, I haven't found a suitable site for machine translation. I'm enjoying the story thus far. At this point, I'm uncertain about who the main love interest (ML) will be or if it will evolve into a full-fledged reverse harem scenario. The agent seems like a strong contender; he appears attractive, composed, both in and out of bed, which is quite appealing. His mysterious nature adds an intriguing dimension to the story.
The ratings seem quite low, which puzzles me since this is one of my current favorites. What stands out is the uniqueness of the story and its protagonist. The reviewer accurately described the main character as arrogant and ruthless, and despite knowing that beforehand, I was still taken aback by just how single-minded he could be. I appreciate how his character traits align seamlessly with his actions and dialogue, making him a genuinely refreshing departure from the typical good vs. evil archetypes. The development of his character, particularly as he opens up to his new son, adds warmth to the narrative. The transformation is gradual and realistic, not an instant change from villain to benevolent caregiver. Moreover, the pacing is ideal for me – not too slow, but not rushed either. There's a balance between keeping me engaged without unnecessary details bogging down the plot. I highly recommend giving it a read for yourself to truly experience it! ☆ ~ ('▽^)
I have read stories with dense and slow protagonists. But this is the first novel where the MC is idiotic, the story started strong but fell flat extremely fast .
I originally created an account specifically because this story, I just hadn't been able to formulate a proper comment since that time.
I originally wanted to be since and fair when talking about this story... but I can't. The longer I've waited to write this, the more my disdain for this story has grown, to the point I'm making this comment now in hopes of it still being somewhat based on the story's own merit and not my own disdain.
Disclaimer, I stopped reading at Chapter 943, take this review with a grain of salt. I'll also avoid specifics, keeping this relatively vague.
The world building is messy.
The system itself is filled with so many glaring contradiction that, at many points, it feels as if the author forgot previously established knowledge.
The main character is hollow, relying on plot armor so think, you'd be forgiven for mistaking it for his skull.
The side character are a mixed bag, some are good, some are awful.
Worst of all, in my opinion, are the awful plot twists.
Do you like females but interested in Men? This novel is just for you!
Came back here after seeing that a comment of mine from an year ago was getting some activity. It seems that people from an year ago actually had decent taste and knew this novel is mediocre. If you really want to read progressive fantasy with power creep, just read Swallowed Star, which is actually decent. It's honestly surprising seeing people say that they liked the novel, it's like they haven't read anything better.
I recommend "Fey Evolution Merchant" it's good
Just read it was very good
