Good plot & interesting too.
But I wonder how often the author update new chapters.
Amazing story. Easily brings you into a world where all this magic happens. I've never hated a ML so much and an excellent twist at the end! Definitely recommend
A good one??? Liked it!
There's this really beautiful idea that runs through these chapters about art not being about reproducing what the eye sees but preserving what the heart feels. Lin Mo literally says this and then goes on to create this whole video project that merges real footage with her paintings. It's not just a creative decision—it's a philosophical one. The whole story seems to be building toward this idea that connection (with a place, with another person, with yourself) requires you to slow down and really pay attention. The glacier isn't just pretty; it's ancient and vast and it makes you feel small in the best way. The motorcycle ride isn't just thrilling; it's about trust and letting go and holding on. Even the accidental photo—that's about seeing someone truly, capturing a moment they didn't know was being witnessed. And the lone tree against the glacier? That's basically the whole theme in one image. Something small and stubborn and beautiful standing against something enormous and timeless. The author keeps coming back to this idea of dialogue—between artist and nature, between Lin Mo and Danzeng, between past and present. Lin Mo's video project is described as "a conversation between artist and nature" and honestly that's what this whole section of the book feels like. A conversation. Quiet, patient, building slowly toward something that can't be rushed. The ending line about "a quiet romance was beginning to bloom" fits perfectly with this. Nothing dramatic. Just something real growing in the right conditions.
