Pardon me, english isnt my main language. The story is quite good. I enjoy it so far. I noticed plenty mistakes with the grammar. Btw, Stop complaining about why the mc isnt a villain. Just enjoy the story, its free. The author doenst charge you.

This is a true hero, helpful, working hard to progress, and giving consequences to actions that are not good. Romance, with cultivation, and progression. I need one of those rings. Something to help dreams come true.
I like the story. The idea is nice and the characters are also lovable. The writing quality is also perfect. I like how the first chapter started with a little but thorough explanation of the world. Good work, author
I've read all the free chapters. The MC is a moron. He whines, complains, and does and says things that made me wish I could reach through my screen and slap him for being a moron. The first 10-15 chapters are hard to read because the MC is a moron. The story does get better as the tory progresses, but after 52 chapters I can count the number of times the MC did or said something I thought was moronic with one hand. If you have any doubt about this review read the book, then read the comments left by other readers.

Ayant actuellement lu jusqu'au chapitre 28 je poste un avis sur cette histoire.Le MC est toujours entrain de s'apitoyer sur son sort, ne fait rien pour arranger sa situation. Bref, je vais pas mentir je perd de plus en plus l'intérêt de lire cette histoire, regarder une personne refaire les mêmes erreurs encore et encore sans essayer de changer quelque chose me fait perdre l'envie de lire. Pareil, la professeure qui est supposé avoir tout fait pour l'aider depuis le début... Auteur avait vous enlever les chapitres où elle l'a aider ? Parce qu'actuellement il n'y a aucun moment où elle l'a aider, elle n'a fait que lui répéter de contrôler ces émotions pour ne pas répondre au provocation de Samael. Au passage, pourquoi vous avez écrit à plusieurs reprise que le MC était doué pour cacher/contrôler ces émotions alors que legit à chaque fois que quelqu'un lui parle soit il s'énerve soit il devient apeuré.Bref, tout ça pour dire que je m'arrête ici de lire pour cette histoire, je ne vois pour l'instant pas d'intérêt à continuer.Je reviendrais peut être dans quelque temps pour le continuer mais pour l'instant j'en ai perdu l'envie.Je vous invite quand même à lire cette histoire pour vous faire votre propre avis car même si j'ai perdu l'envie de continuer à lire plus loin que le chapitre 28 peut être que de votre côté vous trouverez votre bonheur dans cette histoire car il n'en reste pas moins que la qualité d'écriture est très correct, la stabilité de mise à jour des chapitres est plutôt ok aussi, le fond du monde à l'air assez intéressant et à pas mal de potentiel. Par contre, comme vous l'avez lu plus haut dans mon commentaire, de mon point de vue je trouve que le développement de l'histoire et la conception des personnages n'est vraiment pas terrible.Je terminé donc ici mon avis, bien entendu mon avis n'engage que moi à vous de vous faire votre propre avis sur cette histoire.

Nosensical trash, it looked promising but theres just so much stuff that dont make sense. Dont waste your time on this novel.
First of all, please fix the lump of text meshed together in some chapters that make the story really hard to read. Other than this formatting issue, the translation is top quality. FYI, don't get scared away by the formatting mess in the first chapter. I actually almost dropped the novel because of that. Persist and you'll be rewarded. I have been looking for a horror novel with good story telling, like My House of Horrors and Dreadful Radio Game. (Plague Doctor is just too confusing for me.) Midnight Bookstore definitely fits the bills. It's made up of many exceptionally good ghost stories. Pros:- A smart MC- A funny side kick friend- An interesting walking female corpse- A creepy Envoy of Hell kid- No homophobic undertone- So many curve balls and plot twists that you don't see coming (it really makes you doubt every character that appears)- Many of the ghost tales are in the gray area (there's no black and white, it's hard to tell who's right or wrong)Cons:- Will this novel ever get picked up from the trial read?!- How long do I have to wait?!- And oh yeah, please fix the formatting issue. Other thoughts:- MC's store is not a Midnight bookstore, more like a late night bookstore since it doesn't only open at midnight (in fact, it even opens during daytime)- MC is always thinking about sleeping with his wife (but not in a perverted way-ish?). But thanks to his side kick friend though, now he has a psychological issue he got to overcome before he can do that ???- The bone-chilling terrifying element isn't that prominent here. But that is offset by good-story telling. So, not a con per se. Overall: Definitely worth my time.

This novel,while with a rather generic story, is well executed. The grammar needs some work, there's also issues with how the sentences flow.Characters are defined and have their distinct personality, but sometimes they feel a bit 2-dimensional. Maybe it will be developped in later chapters? To conclude, this novel has promises if the author adresses the points raised in this review.
