It's a great read... I'll write another review later.
Very beautifully written story. One of my favorites on here. Royalty is indeed a very talented author. I enjoyed it.
I love this book ...️
I understand why people like this compared to other mafia stories. But It was just a very fast paced story about a bunch of horney teenagers. Very stupid, annoying and boring. Beau is actually very stupid for a so-called genius. Dom is just horney, nothing else. Not much of a plot going on.
need to work on the grammer
Good book...interesting to read
Loved every bit of this.
Leigh is so mean and hot tempered. Irish got the flaws
need more nouns points.
I am still not over the breakfast scene. I read it and I literally had to put the phone down and stare at the wall for a minute. She just spent the night with this man — and I mean just spent the night, because the text makes it clear she was in a daze the entire time, body reacting on instinct while her mind was completely blank. She had no memory, no experience, no framework for understanding what was happening to her. And then she wakes up to find him casually eating breakfast like nothing happened, and she musters up the courage to tell him the most vulnerable thing she possibly could: "I've lost my memory. Just the last three years." And his response? "Can you stop with this nonsense already?" He doesn't believe her. He doesn't even try. And then he drops the line that absolutely shatters her: "It's been two years, Liang Yan. Aren't you tired? I just don't feel anything for you." Two years. She's been married for two years and he's been pretending. And now she doesn't even remember those two years. The tragedy of it is so layered — she's grieving a marriage she can't recall, from a man who never cared, and she has no one to even blame because technically she was the one who was clingy. The public comments online confirm it: "Why not just act? Why spend all her time chasing after Lu Lincheng?" The whole world thinks SHE was the problem. But then she flips it. "Sorry to disappoint you — last night, I didn't feel a damn thing either." And I just — I lost it. That is a woman reclaiming her power in the only way she knows how. Not with tears, not with begging, but with a cold, sharp lie that cuts deeper than any truth could. She's protecting herself. And the fact that it works on him? That his face goes black? That's the moment I knew this relationship was going to be complicated as hell.
