great book
Okay so let me just say—this chapter had me hooked from page one. The opening with Mo Tingyan having nightmares is genuinely unsettling. He's muttering 'Come back, come back quickly. Don't go, you'll die...' and Wen Zhi is wrapped in his arms trying to comfort him. But here's the thing that keeps me up at night: WHO is he dreaming about? The text deliberately doesn't tell us. Is it his white moonlight? Someone from his past? The author is playing with us, and I respect it. Then you have Mo Tingjue showing up on the return flight like a ghost from the past. The confrontation scene where he grabs Wen Zhi's wrist and begs her not to like someone else? Classic toxic ex energy. And his line about chili water—that's supposed to be his leverage, right? Like 'I saved you once, so you owe me.' But Wen Zhi absolutely destroys him with: 'You slept with the person who hurt me. You betrayed me—why should I forgive you?' The plot twist with Xu Purser kidnapping them both and separating them into different rooms is peak drama. But the real twist? Mo Tingyan already beat up Hao Xuguang before Wen Zhi even got there. He was pretending to be drugged the whole time. The author set this up so well—you think Mo Tingyan is helpless, but he's actually been in control the entire time. That reveal when Wen Zhi sees the bloody teeth in the corner? Chills. Absolute chills.
I don't like the fact that after being rejected because she was not worthy she still feels a connection to colton. I was hoping she would held her head high grab her pride leave the pack then finding her 2nd choice alpha who accepts and trains her and together becoming a power couple.

Writing is awful, you can tell English is not their first language or they aren’t up to date on modern English. The main character is pathetic that I cringe every time she says it something. I get having a “girl that need saving” theme but this is a little too much and it makes you uncomfortable.

I really liked The story, as a second time reading a novel, i really love the story emotion through out the challenge it felt plus it was easy for me to identify character conflict before so it was kinda foreshadowing which i think great for the story twist, Highly Recommended!

This is the first time that I have paid per chapter for a book. I loved every second of it, worth every penny. I was in the middle of the book when I got hit by a truck and almost died, when I finally got myself on track again, I didn't have any money. Finally was able to finish today. Worth it.
