With enough materials at her disposal, she made her way back to the cave. She placed the leaves and grass on ground, then separated them into two piles. She then neatly formed them into makeshift beds. It wasn't much, but she was still proud of herself. All this work completely occupied her mind, she ignored all of her exhaustion. "I think it's fine if I rest for a while now, right?" Ayne asked as she plopped herself onto the leafy bed. It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but it was enough for her to fall asleep in a matter of seconds.
"Oh really? But where…"
"Hmph, you have been our only visitor in the past aeon. What, did that boy send you?"
"...Sorry." the monk said sheepish before walking away.
After leaving the inn, Jun Lan headed to the woods. After making sure that no other person is present, she pulled out the green jade pendant from her robes. It was the one given to her by Tian Wu. Remembering his instructions, she tapped on the jade pendant with her knuckles.
Everyone was at awe at seeing a shining ball in my hand.

The story is quite good with a fast paced development (im 30 chapters in). The first few chapters could have been put into one because they were unnecessarily and last but not least - 30 chapters in and i can't tell if Nori is a boy or girl - what the hell does nonbinary even mean!!!!
