This sh*t was good at start but after he became the emperor its just repeating like other so valled geniuses from everywhere are just immature like how can they even get to that rank without brains they are always finding trouble every person after 20 chapter will get a opportunity and think they can defeat mc and ended up dead or humiliated and they bring their clans or other genius thinking they can defeat him with all these people and sh*t.. i dropped it at when he was gonna become the lord of the immortal world
so just dropping this here, does anybody know if it’s gonna continue or not?

I translated it eagerly because I couldn't wait. MTL (Machine Translation) is quite manageable. The story is overall very light and romantic, featuring passionate kisses but no explicit content. The main character (MC) is adorable, while the love interest (ML) is adoring, though there's a scene around chapter 95 where he somewhat forces MC into a more intimate situation (which I don't recall being too graphic). The plot follows a predictable pattern; MC encounters challenges but easily overcomes them in the next few chapters, keeping the pace fast due to its basketball setting.
The supporting characters are decent but not particularly deep. They have their moments, but they don't receive much attention apart from MC's Chinese roommate, who becomes a likable buddy.
In summary, this would be a suitable, easy read for someone looking for a lighthearted, low-pressure story.
Please note that it's been over six months since I last read, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Initially, the story was exceptional, and I couldn't put it down. However, as time passed, the excitement wore off, and the novel became increasingly difficult to enjoy. The main character seemed to breeze through challenges, accumulating unnecessary skills, and his true personality surfaced less frequently. Supporting characters from Hollywood, while numerous, failed to engage me. I was particularly looking forward to key moments involving the exorcist girl and the theater troupe kid, but their roles turned out to be insignificant and could easily be removed without affecting the plot.
As the story progressed, the protagonist's concept was resolved too easily, losing its appeal. The focus on Hollywood shifted, and the originality of his acting experiences diminished, replaced by mentions of brand deals, YouTube content, and collaborations. While some aspects, like the eerie sacrifice and Island of the Lost, were memorable, I felt the latter chapters didn't live up to the early parts. The action scenes唤起我对经典电影的记忆， but it became repetitive.
The tipping point came when the author incorporated real-life events, like the main character turning down Jurassic Park roles and dating Miley Cyrus, which stretched my suspension of disbelief. Despite enjoying the overall narrative, my dissatisfaction grew proportionally to the主角's fame. The Hollywood section felt mundane, despite being the focal point.
The final straw was the realization that the main character was basing his decisions on real-life celebrities, like playing the Joker and dating Miley Cyrus. This was too much for me, and my enthusiasm waned rapidly. Prior to that, I had been recommending the web novel enthusiastically, but my enthusiasm dwindled abruptly.
There were some genuinely enjoyable moments, like the character's performances and interactions with loved ones, but these instances became less prominent as the story advanced. Misunderstandings were initially amusing, but they eventually became tiresome.
In summary, the story started strong but lost its charm. Although I still found it entertaining, I advise stopping before Chapter 475, as the later chapters suffer from a decline in quality and a disappointing climax. Despite my criticisms, I don't regret reading it, but I caution others to approach the later parts cautiously.
