~Just a Dream~

At need time of this review I am at chapter 385. so far, I am really loving this book. The apocalypse piece mentioned in the title is not super relevant to the story at least at this time. it's more post-apocalyptic. The main male lead is as described he is definitely Op, but not in a way that he doesn't experience growth. he is swiftly gaining harem members. I really have almost no complaints about this story. it's really awesome and I recommend it to anyone that likes a harem. it is unique and does not feel like something you've read a thousand times. Read it!

A good story that is ultimately weighed down by two big issues. Firstly, there is such a thing as too much detail. There were many times in the story I was reading when too many small things were talked about. Like going to one place only to be turned away because he needs *blank*. So he goes to get *blank* only for it to be a long drawn-out process. This happens a lot, and I keep asking myself: "Did you really need to take time to include all these useless things?" It really feels like the word count is unnecessarily padded. The other issue is the MC knows LITERALLY nothing. Imagine a little kid following you around asking the most obvious questions for several hours. And no matter how much they learn, even the slightest hint of anything new leads to a barrage of new questions. I'm surprised the MC knows how to BREATHE without being told how to do it.

I read this a couple of times, and I love the story. I didn't know why this wasn't chosen last time but seeing that the translator has taken a break and stuff, I can't blame anyone lol. I mean, I did read when it came out on trial read at that time, but didn't notice that it wasn't picked after I read finished and forgot about it. Only after I read it after the fourth time did I notice lol.Love the face-slapping in the novel, and the comedy which is portrayed between the two lead characters in the novel. The Father and son duo in the show and the difference between them was very entertaining.Mostly readable translation, better than majority of translated ones. I don't need to see much about Story Development, you just need to read it and come to understand why you should like it. Your choice though.I can't say anything about Updating Stability, because you know, this is a trial read. But I'll give it a five to make it an overall 5 star review, because it deserves it.Strange... I can't seem this review properly. I would've been more descriptive but I'm just quite tired lol. I may update this review to give a better one next time.

I am a little disappointed. Normally this would be quite the good novel, but compared to the others in selection, this one is not as good.The story progress is very slow sometimes and at other times weirdly fast. There is no immersion and you can skip chapters without losing anything.I get that the MC is important, but it does not make sense to insert the MC in power fights where he should not be able to do anything, only for him to get temporary boosts to show of.I felt cheated during the graveyard fight. MC is apparently the only thinking individual, while does much stronger are at best a little retarded, even the MC father.Not a good start for a novel which could have potential.
