The special powers or skills introduced were refreshing, offering something new and intriguing compared to other novels I've read. The leveling system stood out as unique, as it did not adhere to conventional level caps like 100, 1000, or 10000.

While I appreciate the introduction of a character to drive the plot, Claire's generic traits, like her ice magic, silver hair, and inexplicable power, make her seem underdeveloped. Her quick bond with the protagonist, despite knowing him for just a few weeks, feels contrived.

It's primarily about his journey to the top, fueled by his consistent success in dungeon clearing. Foxaholic's translations are commendable, but the straightforward prose allows even those with minimal knowledge of the language to keep up with the story using basic comprehension skills.

My feelings about this web novel are a mixed bag. It's filled with fluffy content, with dozens of chapters devoted to recounting主人公简单地回 dungeon, grind, and level up, sharing stat updates. The brevity of the chapters is both a pro and a con, reminiscent of early mobile novels.

Though not identical, it shares similarities with 'Solo Leveling' from Japan, featuring clichés like a younger sister needing financial support due to absent parents, overpowered progression, a "demon tower," dungeon escapes, and a shady adventurer organization. All the familiar character archetypes are present, ticking off the checklist.

I'm curious enough to explore the light novel version, hoping it delves deeper and expands the world-building. At its current paused state, it doesn't stand out as anything extraordinary, and for those who read at a moderate pace, it's a quick read that can be completed within a few hours.

The novel started off decent, but unfortunately, my interest waned around chapter 71 when a series of clichéd events occurred that derailed my excitement. The revelation that the main character's sister suddenly gained highly convenient, plot-driven abilities – including a few others that seemed tailor-made for dungeon adventures – struck me as implausible. To make matters worse, I didn't particularly like the sister character, and now she's thrust into the story as a constant presence, which feels annoying to me. I'd rather not read a tale where the protagonist is constantly babysitting his moody sister. So, I've decided to drop the book.
