What to Do When You're Targeted by a Yandere Evil God [Infinite]

Luo Yu awakens in Qinggang High School, a fully enclosed boarding institution with no memory of how she arrived. A cold, inhuman voice informs her that she is a player in an escape game alongside more than a dozen others. Her mission is to uncover the school’s secrets or survive for seven days; breaking rules or failing tasks results in death. The atmosphere is immediately oppressive, as students behave like lifeless mannequins, obsessed with studying and devoid of normal social interaction. Luo Yu notices that teachers and students alike display hidden ferocity, suggesting a dangerous undercurrent beneath the academic facade.

During dinner, Luo Yu encounters a remarkably handsome young man working at the bun counter. Despite the eerie environment, she is captivated by his appearance and finds herself drawn to him. Later, the players gather in the cafeteria, where a veteran player named Sun Heng takes leadership. He warns that surviving by hiding is a trap and that the environment will deteriorate over time. Luo Yu joins his team, receiving a copy of the school rules, though she remains skeptical of his motives. Meanwhile, another veteran player, Yang Tian, views Luo Yu as a threat due to Sun Heng’s apparent interest in the newcomer.

That evening, Luo Yu is targeted by a female teacher who transforms into a monster with hollow black eyes. As the monster attempts to lure her to the office, Luo Yu senses a terrifying presence above her. She looks up to see a pair of crimson pupils embedded in the sky. While navigating a deadly marsh, she is confronted by the handsome bun vendor, who reveals himself as the Yandere Evil God, the supreme being governing the instance. He uses his power to force her into the swamp, demanding her soul in exchange for protection. Luo Yu refuses his deal, admitting only that she finds him attractive, which confuses and intrigues the god. He erases her memories of the encounter and returns her to the dormitory.

On the second day, Luo Yu discovers that her memories of the previous night are gone. She learns from a classmate, Liu Shuang, that students who struggle academically are targeted by teachers and transformed into obedient puppets. Liu Shuang attempts to lure Luo Yu out of the dorm at night, but the dorm supervisor intervenes, revealing a complex alliance among the non-player characters. Luo Yu realizes that the dorm is filled with monsters and that the school’s secret involves the teachers consuming students and replacing them with doppelgangers to maintain the illusion of a normal school.

Tensions rise within the player group as Sun Heng’s leadership is challenged. Luo Yu proposes that monsters may have already infiltrated the player ranks by replacing dead members. This theory causes paranoia, leading the players to detain several suspects. Yang Tian accuses Luo Yu of colluding with the handsome NPC, but Luo Yu defiantly leaves the group rather than submit to their irrational suspicion. The Evil God, observing from the shadows, notes Luo Yu’s unique devotion and decides to intervene subtly, protecting her from the dangers that continue to escalate as the game progresses.
