Transmigration: Wang Man's Violent Taming of Her Husband

Wang Man, a modern-day underground fighter and martial arts champion, dies in a plane crash and transmigrates into the body of Wang Manman, a twelve-year-old girl in an ancient rural village. The original Wang Manman was abused by her stepmother and father, who sold her to Wang San, a twenty-four-year-old thug from a destitute family, for five taels of silver. Realizing that Wang San is lazy, gambles, and lacks basic survival skills, Wang Man takes charge of the household. She forces him to accompany her to dig up grain stored in mouse holes in the nearby rice fields, securing their first substantial food supply in days. This act marks a turning point in their dynamic, as Wang San, though confused and intimidated, begins to obey her commands to avoid further physical punishment.

Wang Man discovers she possesses a mysterious storage room from her modern life, containing gold, weapons, and cash, but finds it inaccessible for the time being. Undeterred, she uses her limited resources—fifteen copper coins and some wild vegetables—to start a small business. She purchases eggs from a neighbor, roasts them with salt, and plans to sell them in town. However, Wang San and his thug friends steal most of the batch before she can sell them. Enraged, Wang Man beats Wang San and his friends with a fire poker, forcing Wang San to agree to accompany her to the market the next day to sell the remaining eggs as her assistant.

Throughout these early chapters, Wang Man systematically dismantles Wang San’s rebellious nature. She extracts a servitude contract from him, effectively binding him to her so he cannot sell her off or mistreat her without facing consequences. She also manages the household finances, seizing his hidden earnings and demanding he contribute ten copper coins daily to the family. Her modern knowledge and combat skills allow her to protect the household from external threats, including neighborhood gossip and local thugs. The narrative follows her efforts to stabilize her new life, improve her family’s living conditions, and navigate the social hierarchies of the village while hiding her true capabilities and modern soul.
