Lu Nian transmigrated into a novel and became a weak and unimportant supporting female character.

As the only daughter of the prestigious Lu family, she was a pitiful beauty suffering from an illness. Originally, she was a minor cannon fodder who died after only a few chapters. Unfortunately, the Lu family, in order to assist their young lady, brought back a fake older brother from an orphanage when she was young.

Named as her brother, he was actually a servant of the young lady, with a lowly status in the Lu family, as lowly and despised as a dog, who could be beaten and scolded by anyone.

Lu Nian, after transmigrating, saw a pale and handsome young man being stepped on by others. His eyes were gloomy and cold, staring at her not far away. When Lu Nian heard his name, she shuddered.

Isn’t this the appearance of the ultimate antagonist in the novel?

The eventual head of the Lu family, cold and heartless, ruthless in his methods, and wielding immense power, he sought revenge on all the sufferings he had endured in his youth. In the end, he almost perished along with the male lead.

Terrified, she decided to treat him well in her limited remaining life, hoping that after he turned dark, he would spare her life at least.

This is the strong female transformation that many authors aim for. The author has done a wonderful job developing the characters, and gives a view of overcoming trauma in a delicate and empowering way. Consistently feminist (hard to do in this niche) and well written with only a few mistakes.
