Transmigrated as the Villainess to Save the Abused Female Lead

Lin Zhao, a hardworking office employee from the modern world, dies from exhaustion and transmigrates into the body of a vicious female supporting character in a tragic romance novel. She awakens in a luxurious bedroom, confused and disoriented, until a system named 101 explains her situation. The novel she inhabits is an angsty story centered on Xu Ning, the female lead, who suffers relentless physical and emotional abuse from the male lead, Gu Zhuoxiao. Xu Ning, an orphan raised by her grandparents, is targeted by Gu Zhuoxiao due to a childhood misunderstanding. He isolates her, humiliates her publicly, and forces her into a subservient role, causing her grades to plummet and her health to deteriorate. The abuse becomes so severe that Xu Ning develops self-awareness, realizing she is a fictional character trapped in a predetermined tragedy, and contemplates suicide. Lin Zhao negotiates a deal: if she improves her grades and transfers to the advanced Class One, he will allow her to stay. Unbeknownst to her father, Lin Zhao’s true motivation is to be closer to Xu Ning in the advanced class to continue protecting her.
