Leon was an ordinary guy, seen as weak in his school because his skills hadn't awakened yet, despite them usually manifesting at the coming of age. He attended the prestigious Milham's Magic Knight Academy, where securing the top spot guaranteed automatic entry into the esteemed position of a Magic Knight in the country. Unfortunately, Leon found himself in the lower ranks, labeled the most useless student. To make matters worse, he was placed in a class that served as a refuge for misfits and delinquents. However, this didn't bother him much, as becoming a Magic Knight wasn't his true goal.
Everything changed when he met Shredica, a woman determined to become a Magic Knight by any means necessary. Seeing Leon's lack of ambition and his apparent indifference towards the academy's goals, Shredica spotted an opportunity. She decided to use him as a pawn in her climb up the academy's hierarchy.
However, unbeknownst to Shredica, Leon was not the passive, unremarkable individual she thought him to be.
