Zhou Mumu is an eighteenth-tier actress who has spent seven years struggling in the entertainment industry while maintaining her integrity and refusing to compromise with unspoken rules. The daughter of a martyr, she lives a frugal life, sending her earnings to support her twin sister, Zhou Chaochao, an active-duty soldier. Her career is suddenly destroyed when a massive wave of fabricated scandals floods social media. Accusations of sleeping her way to the top, academic fraud, and bullying staff appear simultaneously, drowning her in public hatred.
