Leonardo Jilani spends 50 years of his life as a member of the Fazio crime family only to be betrayed by the second son of the family in a power struggle for control over the family. He is killed and resurrected into another world and into the body of the only heir of the declining Fanucci crime family.
He soon accepts his fate and decides to use his knowledge and experience to revive and strengthen the family and to protect does closest to him in the new world, which seems to bear some similarities to modern day earth.
