The Socially Anxious Fox Spirit Doesn’t Want to Cultivate the Hehuan Dao

Yunxiu, a senior technician at a modern crematorium, transmigrates into the body of a fox spirit in the Hehuan Sect after reading an explicit novel while ghostwriting a student's homework. Suffering from severe social anxiety, she finds herself in a cultivation world with a developed SpiritNet and a sect known for its predatory disciples. Later, Yunxiu and Feixiao are falsely accused of massacring three hundred people in Baihua City and are imprisoned. Xie Wuwang, needing a local guide to navigate the complex case, bails Yunxiu out by chaining himself to her. Despite her crippling social anxiety, Yunxiu uses her professional expertise in handling corpses and her hidden strength to assist in the investigation. She discovers that the victims are not truly dead but are puppet mechanisms controlled by a hidden mastermind.

As they trace the conspiracy through secret tunnels, Yunxiu demonstrates exceptional physical prowess, effortlessly defeating a demon beast that Xie Wuwang cannot easily harm due to being drugged. The culprits, Uncle Wang and Xiao Wu, attempt to frame Yunxiu and manipulate the situation, but their plans unravel.
