She claims it is for a lucrative investment opportunity, but has no intention of investing the money. Meanwhile, Madam Ji reflects on Ruan Su’s unexpected strength and strategic mind, realizing that her daughter-in-law is far more complex than she initially appeared. The story concludes with Ruan Su continuing her daily routine of care and domestic management, navigating the delicate dynamics between her stoic mother-in-law, her young nephew, and her hostile biological family, while Ji Mingchong remains unconscious.
