Lu Sui Sui, a terminally ill woman who spent her final days reading novels in the hospital, transmigrates into the body of a fictional character with the same name. In the original unfinished entertainment novel, this Lu Sui Sui was a tragic figure adopted by a greedy family that exploited her labor and beauty for profit. Forced into the entertainment industry against her will, she was manipulated by her adoptive parents and a malicious manager into posting inflammatory content to leech off the popularity of other stars. This strategy backfired, resulting in widespread public hatred, professional blacklisting, and eventual death at the hands of the negligent author. Upon waking in the new body, Lu Sui Sui resolves to live fully and change the character's miserable fate, driven by her own strong desire for survival.
The story begins with Lu Sui Sui rejecting her manager Chen Pei's demand to post a humiliating apology on social media.
