Ged was always known to be a bit odd.
Growing up, nothing ever seemed to bother him. He went through life with a smile on his face, and if he ever became upset, a strange vision of a green grassy hill would come to mind and calm him down. Lacking the drive that negative emotions can bring, Ged settled into a life of comfortable mediocrity, going with the flow of whatever was in front of him.
This all changed when he was accepted as a disciple of the influential Church of Mount Existence. This strange religious faith sent out invitations across the land to participate in a trial. Ged began his adventure to take part in this mysterious and life-altering trial, making many friends and enemies along the way.
But all is not as it seems. The church is run by peculiar sorcerers who call themselves "Mass Builders," caught in a constant power struggle to attain ever-greater amounts of mass. Reality and the unknown coexist in harmony. The mythical Mount Existence is real; the Peak of Existence can be reached! Despite a shaky start, Ged finds himself traveling down the path of Mass Building, in a desperate pursuit of the elusive Peak of Existence.
