So what's wrong with taking the back streets?

When that thought came to mind it was apparent it would also work in reverse, those who were skilled in real life would gain an advantage. After further thought, the benefit would not be too significant as their expertise might end up limiting their growth.

very gud novel, the writing quality is great, world building so far is going well and meshing with the development. and lots of updates.  recommend 10/10!  Emperor Protects.

What can I say it's getting good and building up the plot soon and I kind of think that its plot will be somewhat similar, but I hope it's not.

the story was going good for me until the 70s. had a great pace for me maybe even a little to fast, then we get stuck in a 10+ chapter long "spar". it killed to mood of the story for me. the author definitely slammed on the brakes a little to hard here.

As expected from the Duke, the beginning of this novel is full of secrets and little allusions. It's fun to read and I'm excited to see what happens next. Please keep it up
