A game developer dies from overwork and wakes up inside the very game world he helped design—as a lowly NPC villager with no skills or powers. However, he quickly realizes he retains his knowledge of the game’s inner workings and hidden quests. Using this knowledge, he works his way up from a nameless NPC to a legendary hero and, eventually, a ruler.
