Meng Yitong, a dedicated intern lawyer who worked long hours at a law firm, dies from overwork and transmigrates into the body of a twenty-one-year-old heiress with the same name. The original owner, a stunningly beautiful but frivolous student at the Capital Dance Academy, lies in a hospital bed with a severe concussion after being pushed by her cousin, Meng Gaoxuan. The incident occurred during a heated family argument regarding an arranged marriage. Meng Yitong wakes up in a luxurious hospital room, initially confused by her new, delicate hands and flawless appearance, before realizing she has inhabited the body of a wealthy girl she never knew. The original Meng Yitong was the daughter of Meng Jianjun and Su Mei, a marginalized branch of the powerful Meng family. Her cousin, Meng Wanbai, was the favored granddaughter, trained since childhood to be the family's pride. When Meng Wanbai ran away from her arranged marriage to Qin Zhuoran, the heir to the prestigious Qin family, the family patriarch, Old Master Meng, forced Meng Yitong to take her place. The Qin Zhuoran is known for being a capable young CEO who was disfigured by a burn on half his face, leading to rumors of his unstable temperament. Upon learning of her situation, Meng Yitong discovers the original owner's chaotic life, including significant debts and a history of supporting a young male celebrity. Despite the risks, she agrees to the marriage after her grandfather offers substantial compensation: five percent of the Meng Group shares, annual dividends, and the Bishui Mountain Manor, a massive eco-resort intended as the cousin's dowry. Meng Yitong uses her legal expertise to negotiate the terms, ensuring the dividend beneficiary is changed to her younger brother, Meng Yuanliang, to secure his future. She also discovers that the family fund was being manipulated against her branch of the family. Her parents, though loving and protective, are portrayed as somewhat naive and financially imprudent, having lost their own business ventures in the past. Meng Yuanliang, an athletic and straightforward eighteen-year-old, is initially seen as simple-minded but proves to be loyal and protective of his sister. The family dynamic is warm, providing Meng Yitong, an orphan in her previous life, with the first true sense of belonging she has ever experienced. As the wedding approaches, tensions rise within the extended family. Aunt Meng, the wife of the family heir Meng Mingyu, and her mother-in-law resist the loss of the mountain manor to Meng Yitong. The Qin family, meanwhile, shows little interest in a traditional wedding, citing Qin Zhuoran's busy schedule and reclusive nature. Meng Yitong faces a nightmare vision of her future, depicting a tragic path where she is abused, divorced, and left destitute, with her brother killed in the chaos. This vision drives her to prepare for the worst, planning to maintain a low profile and secure her financial independence regardless of the marriage's outcome. The story concludes with the family confronting Old Master Meng about the lack of a proper wedding ceremony, highlighting the power struggle between the marginalized eldest branch and the dominant second branch, while Meng Yitong prepares to enter the formidable Qin household as a substitute bride.

The first few chapters had made me smile and laughed for a few occasions. To tell you the truth, I rarely laughed and had fun reading novels with light themes. Take MGA where Chu Feng meets Wang Qiang for example, that part was the funniest of MGA chapters.Although I can’t consider this putting the story at the same place as Ultimate Scheming System or The Strongest System, the vibes are there and the author is doing great. I especially enjoyed reading it. For an original, it was rare to find this kind of novel, definitely a worthy novel to indulge your time on. Although I only read 20 chapters atm and felt that the fighting scene is not detailed and dull, I think it would be improved later on. Plotholes? I only see a few of those, but not too glaring. There is nothing to say with the stability of updates, 2 chapters per day, and the author even gives compensation chapter, who am I to complain? Anyways, for World Background, I don’t have a lot to say to the current chapter I have read which is chapter 20. At first, I thought the setting was a Xianxia, but then, I was completely wrong, and then in the following chapter, the setting had change into xuanhuan with a modern setting. The author had not yet explained how did they receive their powers from, or are the human's civilization changes after cultivation arrived in their world. So for World Development, I can’t say anything at the moment. So I give it five stars, but this might change as I further read the story.Character Design - I would rate it 4/5, to be honest. But since the web novel is still on the beginning part, I won’t be too harsh, and such, I would rate it 5/5 for what I have seen. Also, Writing Quality — Man, I don’t have anything to say. Although there were some passive words and a few mistakes, I don‘t really have an issue with it, since it’s really good and the mistakes were not glaring for me to rant about. Definitely, A 4.9/5, For the Writing Quality.Overall 5/5 review base of what I currently read— Chapter 20. The novel is pretty good, and the writing style even made it easier to read, and people would have not hard-time reading it, and even made you smile. So definitely a recommended novel.
