Becoming a shadow is no easy task.
Alpha Ulgen has lost everyone in his life; his parents and the man who he’s grown to love over the years. The only person he has, he’d loathed because he thought she’d never accepted him. It isn’t until nearing his death he was proven wrong. Now in the state between life and the afterlife he hears of a Shadow Monarch. Curious he’s told about it. A Monarch that lives within purgatory ruling, he is judge, jury, but he is not executioner. The Monarch is powerful on par with even the King of Hell. Ulgen decides in that moment he must become this all powerful Shadow Monarch and plead to the King of Hell to allow him to save the man he loves. However, becoming a shadow is far more difficult than Ulgen had anticipated, but becoming the Monarch of Shadows seems next to impossible.
Grace, a man who is tasked to help in his endeavors, proves to be the hardest task for Ulgen for he is the most blood thirsty beast Ulgen has come into contact with, but their paths must link for Grace is the sole man who can aid him in his task to becoming The Monarch of Shadows.
