In a land called Ravhessia, Richard Marvin, a 16-year-old young man, receives a crucial mission from his grandfather, Henry Marvin. The latter is the Mage of the capital of the Kingdom of Valdrith. He possesses a fragment of the mysterious Circle of Cirkon, a powerful artifact divided into five parts.
Before leaving for a remote land called Turing on a secret mission, Henry entrusts Richard with this fragment and tasks him with finding the other descendants of the Legendary Heroes, each bearing a piece of the Circle. Richard will be accompanied by Princess Elizabeth, a runaway princess.
Richard and his friends must also prepare to face far darker enemies than expected: the Twelve Riders of Shadows, powerful warriors serving the King of Shadows, Barbatos. The latter, a former fallen king, was long ago sealed away by the Five Legendary Mages, and his release could mean the end of light in the land of Ravhessia.
