Xiao Yunzhu, the daughter of the late Marquis Xingyuan, returns to the He family estate in Anzhou to celebrate her grandmother’s birthday and prepare for her upcoming marriage to her cousin, He Baoyan. The engagement was arranged years ago when her family held high status, but her father and brothers died in a boat accident nine years prior, leaving her mother grief-stricken and the family title diminished.
