The Female Supporting Character in the Apocalypse Awakens a Management System

Yan Jin awakens in a pitch-black underground mall amidst the early days of a zombie apocalypse, having transmigrated into the body of a cannon fodder supporting character from an apocalypse novel she had read the previous night. Beside her is Bai Ruozhu, her neighbor, who rescued her after Yan Jin’s adoptive family abandoned her to the zombies. The narrative shifts when a group led by the novel’s female protagonist, Yue Feiyao, arrives at the courtyard. Yue Feiyao attempts to use her protagonist aura and mental abilities to manipulate Yan Jin into providing free supplies, but Yan Jin, aware of the original plot, resists the mental attack and enforces her rules strictly. The wolf king submits to her, and the pack becomes her protector. Following the battle, Yan Jin finds a wounded man, Ji Yanting, on the hill behind the courtyard. She saves him using a Shaping Essence Pill, which heals his fatal wounds but leaves him with amnesia. Ji Yanting stays at the inn, gradually recovering his strength and memories while observing Yan Jin’s secrets.

As the inn grows, Yan Jin unlocks more rooms and expands her planting space, which upgrades to a folded dimension allowing for efficient agriculture. She begins serving high-quality meals made from system-processed mutated beast meat, attracting more survivors like Qi Hua. The story establishes a routine of managing the inn, defending against external threats, and navigating the complex social dynamics of survivors who are drawn to the sanctuary. Yan Jin balances her need for resources with the safety of her companions, preparing for future challenges as the apocalypse continues to evolve around her.
