Lilian lay on his deathbed, his life drawing to a close.
Confined within the sterile silence of a hospital room, he had spent his final months engrossed in novels on his phone.
One novel, in particular, had stolen his heart, and he longed to complete it before succumbing to his terminal illness.
Yet, as his end neared, he discovered he couldn't access the final volume.
Helplessly, he lamented the chances he had let slip away.
Death was now at his door.
"If only there were another world... that could give me a second chance," he murmured.
"If only I could live again... in a time when I would listen."
