This is a pretty typical cultivation novel. Again, there are some tropes I don't really like - uninteresting love interests, backstabbing sect and clan dynamics, and an MC who hasn't really shown a great deal of mental development so far. So in some ways this makes me wonder where this story is going.
There are a couple of things I do like. I like the cheat the MC has. So far it's an interesting add towards his physical development but not towards his cultivation abilities. There's definitely some mystery surrounding this and I'm certainly curious to see how this develops. The other thing I like is that the chapters are relatively long for what that's worth.
I guess overall I'd be interested in following this story if it got chosen, as long as the story doesn't fall into a loop of repetitive plot elements.
