A vivid historical fiction that chronicles the lives of classic monsters with each installment making one monster the focal point, most taking place in different time periods, all of whom are living in the same world sharing a connection to each other. In the first installment Victoria Frankenstein lives in the Napoleon occupied Kingdom of Holland in the house of her childhood friend Jacop, his wife Geertrudia and their two daughters, Susanna and Madelief. She has been running from a monster she created eight years ago. She ponders on past loves, starting new love, and accepting old age. But her past finds her. The wave of devastation that ensues unravels Victoria’s newfound life.
