Seeking to make amends for the original owner's past cruelty, Xia Xiaoyu visits Xiao Bao's family to apologize and offer money for the child's medical care. However, her attempt goes disastrously wrong when she accidentally knocks over furniture and breaks items in their small home. The noise attracts neighbors who assume she is causing trouble again. Panicked, Xia Xiaoyu leaves money and flees the scene, leading the neighbors to believe she has destroyed the house once more. Xiao Bao's mother is dragged to the security office to explain the incident, while Xia Xiaoyu finds herself increasingly entangled in the social web of the military compound. Despite her efforts to change her fate, her clumsy nature and the lingering prejudice against her continue to create obstacles, forcing her to navigate a delicate balance between clearing her name, repaying debts, and avoiding further conflict with her husband and the community.
