Life was pretty good for Orn Avdlak. An easy going lad, living his small coastal village life. The work was hard, but satisfying. He had a loving family and a peaceful land to call home. That was, until they came. They butchered his friends, and those that weren't killed were taken, his father among them. While his mother managed to get him and his brother to safety, Orn was left with the burning desire for revenge and a relentless drive to restore his father back to their family. His father's strength was legendary, as he had a name from his past - 'The Black Bear Berserk'. Orn saw his father taken in spite of this. How can Orn, a mere boy hope to rescue him?
