Every gesture is practical and slightly rough, but underneath it all there's this current of pure care. And then he leans in and says "Young Miss, you truly have no conscience at all." My heart. The way her voice goes muffled inside his jacket, the mint scent on the fabric, the warmth of his body heat still lingering—it's so intimate without being romantic in an obvious way.
