Within this mythological tale, a new god among the Norse, Björnvidr is brought into being from the gods and from the very essence to keep balance in the realm of fire and ice. As Muspelheim and Niflheim start to encroach upon Midgard, Odin and the gods bring Björnvidr into life via a holy ritual. The new god's participation in battle proves he is worthy; thus, he is welcomed in Asgard, a heralding god of hope. But for Björnvidr, this 21st-century man in disguise suffers from dislocation and impersonation complex as he gets used to the new role and powers.
