"Developing the mind alone will leave you with all the answers with no means to accomplish them; developing the body alone will leave you with power and misguided purposes; developing both body and mind is the true path towards splitting the seas."

Talent and money are the two key resources for cultivation. Chu Yunfan has neither. The elimination of poverty after the Catastrophe Era doesn't mean that there aren't any class differences; the rich will be rich and the poor will be poor.

However, his fate takes an unexpected turn when he discovers the soul of the Alchemy Emperor from the Kunlun Realm preserved from beyond the death of his fleshly body.

This marks the beginning of his journey towards the pinnacle of martials arts, while uncovering more secrets behind the Ancient Zenith civilization that gave rise to the era of cultivation on Earth.

It's a good story so far, slow-paced. The conversation between the MC and the Alchemy Emperor is entertaining. However, it would be great if you could adjust some extravagant wording as most readers wouldn't be able to understand it without assistance.

Great start and nice world-building. I don't have much knowledge about cultivation and such Eastern fantasy novels yet I could follow along and understand what was going on.
If I had to say a minor gripe, then it would be that there is a lot of info dump in the first two chapters, other than that no complaints from my side, good job and I would recommend it to anyone interested in Eastern fantasy.

Very nice start to an Eastern Fantasy series!

Chu Yunfan unfortunately doesn't have either form of cultivation at first, but don't let that fool you. It's the seed that will grow into a mighty tree.

If you're into martial arts with a bit of a fantasy flair then give this series a try. I would highly recommend it!

Very good writing. This is one of the better books out there with a good story and character. It makes good use of real world knowledge to make a realistic cultivation world. The writing quality is also among the best and the characters and story have very high potential.
