After the destruction of the world, the remnants of humanity found refuge in fortified mega-cities, shielded from the omnipresent radiation that blanketed the land. These urban fortresses provided enough resources for their inhabitants to remain self-sufficient, yet the experience of life within varied dramatically based on one crucial factor: wealth.
While the affluent lived like gods, the impoverished slum dwellers struggled daily for survival. Basic necessities—food, water, and clothing—became sacred treasures in the squalor of the slums.
