Kaelen, a young boy, is desperate to rouse his slumbering mother. Unbeknownst to him, her state is a result of a mysterious curse originating from another realm. One fateful day, Kaelen finds himself suddenly transported into that enchanted world. As fate would have it, he is chosen by a princess to become her personal guard amidst a brewing conflict over a throne bid.
The initial chapters may seem somewhat sluggish and adjusting, but rest assured, once past that initial stage, an exhilarating adventure and intense action-packed journey await, filled with excitement and thrills.
I’m really impressed with how the world-building has been unfolding, along with the depth and complexity of the power system. The MC’s development has been fantastic, and I’m thoroughly enjoying each chapter.
So far I’ve enjoyed the book. The beginning was engaging and the power system seems well thought out. The characters are intriguing and I’m looking forward to reading more.
