Two decades have passed since an apocalyptic illness have infected lots of humans and turned their corpses into flesh-eating monsters called 'hellspawns'. Humanity was on the brink of extinction until a labyrinth of trial was discovered and conquered by aspirants which gave them innate abilities and a system that enables them to get stronger and fight back. Lloyd, a broke orphan from the outer district of Fort Asteria, discarded his current life and decided to go to his last resort: to challenge the labyrinth of trials to change the miserable future waiting for him. Will he ever conquer the trials or will he succumb to the bleak future that would lead to his death?
