The main character is strong, but not overpowered. Initially, it might have lacked some appeal for me as I stopped reading around Chapter 21, but I recently decided to give it another go."

For instance, Shirahoshi, Fishman Island, and certain characters like Koby and Water Seven residents are underdeveloped or barely mentioned. A major point of contention is the inconsistent portrayal of the main character's power levels. Initially described as "energy power," it later shifts to "level" without clear comparisons to opponents. Additionally, the reader must keep track of the character's growing collection of cards since the author doesn't provide a comprehensive list. The story also disrupts the original narrative by having the main character recruit Robin, a crucial figure for Luffy's crew.

Despite these issues, the novel is still a decent read. The MC's shortcomings prevent me from fully enjoying it, but the writing itself is commendable. I'd rate it 4 stars for its readability, despite the unsatisfactory aspects related to the main character and the treatment of female characters, which is common in this genre.
