[Cupid Quill Oct 2024 Entry]
I came up with this synopsis for my unwritten novel:
In a world overrun by the apocalypse, nothing remains but the dead… and zombies. The key to saving humanity is the Male Lead. The Female Lead is meant to guide him on his path to do just that. Two souls destined to intervene and save the world.
It sounded like a clever plot: the FL (Female Lead) saves the ML (Male Lead), and together they travel through a zombie-infested world to find salvation. Smart, right?
That’s what I thought when I wrote the synopsis. I should have stuck to a simpler story where the FL and ML are commoners who meet, fall in love, and live happily ever after.
But no, I had to go and try to impress readers with an apocalypse-themed story.
Now, I’m literally stuck in that very novel—one I haven’t even started writing yet. Worse still, I have no survival skills, no powers, and only one useless skill that can’t possibly save me in this catastrophe.
Why, gods, why? If only I had created a charming, sexy Male Lead instead of a ruthless psychopath who kills zombies for fun and steals from others.
With no other choice but to seduce the ML and make him understand there’s more to life than carnage, I’ve realized that I’ve got even bigger problems to deal with…
