Ye Mian, a robot repairer from Earth, awakens in the body of a twenty-year-old university student on the mutated planet Youxing in the year 2071. Three months prior, a mysterious radiation had devastated the world, causing plants, animals, and humans to mutate. Society collapsed as Evolvers, those with enhanced abilities, fled to rural areas, while Mutated Variants, humans who lost their sanity, hunted for prey. The original Ye Mian, possessing a non-combat auxiliary skill called Insight, was abandoned by her companions due to her frail physique and died of fright after binding herself to a mysterious system known as the Dream Farm. Ye Mian inherits this farm, which grants her the unique trait of being immune to all attacks within its boundaries. She immediately tames a three-headed dog named Da Hei by exploiting its physical weaknesses, unlocking the system’s taming function and securing her first companion.

Adapting to her new reality, Ye Mian completes the system’s newbie missions, which involve clearing weeds, gathering food, and repairing her dilapidated three-story farmhouse. The farm’s automated repair features restore the house to livable condition, and she discovers that the farm purifies mutated plants, making them safe to eat. During an expedition outside the farm’s protective barrier to gather wood and stone, Ye Mian and Da Hei encounter a mid-level Double-tailed Snake. Utilizing her Insight skill to identify the beast’s weak point and her immunity to withstand its crushing weight, she coordinates with Da Hei to kill the monster. Da Hei evolves after consuming the snake, gaining increased combat power and a new skill. This victory provides essential resources and demonstrates the synergy between Ye Mian’s tactical mind and her loyal beast.

While searching for supplies in a nearby abandoned village, Ye Mian rescues Xue Kai, an agriculture graduate and Evolver with a defensive skill called Fortress. Xue Kai had been betrayed and left for dead by former classmates who resented his lack of combat utility. Recognizing Ye Mian’s possession of a System, he pledges his loyalty and agrees to help manage the farm in exchange for shelter and food. His expertise in farming and cooking proves invaluable, as he efficiently handles soil preparation, planting, and meal preparation. Together, the trio establishes a routine: Ye Mian handles external threats and resource gathering, while Xue Kai manages agricultural production and domestic affairs.

The farm’s productivity accelerates rapidly due to the system’s magical properties. Crops mature in hours rather than months, and harvesting yields not only food but also rare seeds, recipes, and special items like a versatile cooking pot and a mysterious potted plant. Ye Mian completes main and side quests, earning experience points and currency used to purchase additional seeds from a vending machine that appears during random events. She plants a diverse array of crops, including wheat, rice, corn, potatoes, and exotic fruits like peaches and olives, transforming the barren land into a thriving agricultural hub. The farm’s defense level, though rated low, effectively repels external threats, allowing Ye Mian and Da Hei to venture out with relative safety.

As their resources grow, Ye Mian and Xue Kai plan to expand their operations and explore the surrounding wasteland for more materials.
