This is one of the finest harem stories out there. Our protagonist is an amiable fellow seeking a simple lifestyle, yet his affable nature draws females like magnets, compelling him to develop strength amidst the sea of yandere characters. The comedy, passionate scenes, action, challenges, and overall narrative are top-notch. However, it's important to note that it leans more towards lighthearted humor, so don't expect a deep, dramatic plot.

The beginning was intriguing, but as I progressed, I stumbled upon the crossdressing portion, which unexpectedly extends for an astonishing 70 chapters. The main character's submissive acceptance of this plot point seems rather unconvincing and lacks depth.

Honestly, I'm unsure about the story's progression. The concept is intriguing, and overall, it's decent, but the repetitive nature has me concerned. The initial premise is fresh, and most elements are well-executed. However, the constant repetition of the same ideas might make me lose interest. If you can overlook the repetitive nature, it's a solid above-average tale. On the flip side, the repetitiveness might become grating, so it's uncertain how long I'll stay engaged. In summary, a promising start with a unique premise, but the execution could be improved by reducing redundancy.

He had plans to continue down this path for the rest of his days. However, his world takes a sudden turn when the narrative becomes overly extravagant. It evolves from a simple tale that hints at greater power structures and hierarchical roles to delving into discussions of supreme dragon deities. The issue lies in the inconsistency, as there are four distinct gods mentioned, alongside talk of goddesses' gods. This blending of concepts loses its appeal, causing boredom to set in.

To be honest, this novel feels like a total imitation. I'd give it a solid 5 stars based on my preference for this genre, but I can't in good conscience. The core storyline is intriguing and holds significant promise, with plenty of appealing scenarios that usually captivate me.

However, the issue lies in the numerous fillers or fan service sections that precede the main plot. These aren't separate chapters, but rather extended subplots that serve as trials or tests, often with satisfying conclusions. Unfortunately, since they're dream-like sequences, they hardly contribute to the overall progression of the story.

Additionally, the author's handling of the character Huahuo, the childhood friend, is frustrating. Her power-ups are so exaggerated that it becomes hard to empathize. The main character's growth is virtually non-existent, and he fails to actively investigate the reasons behind his exes' pursuit.

I had hoped that this novel was nearing its climax given its length, but it appears that the main story is still less than 20% complete. I've decided to discontinue reading and wait until the book concludes to see if the remaining chapters justify my time investment.

As for a recommendation, my answer is no. Only read this if you're desperate for something to read and have ample time to spare.

Additionally, I would like to share another great read, "The Eternal Heaven Monarch," which I wholeheartedly recommend to all readers.

Initially, it was engaging, particularly during the Blood Moon arc, which ranked either first or second among the best storylines, like the Water World arc. However, after that pivotal point, the chapters became a chore, with an overwhelming majority of paragraphs filled with uninteresting content, annoyance, redundancy, or a combination of these issues.

The Water World arc, Chess arc, and Dragon Sisters were decent, but my memory is hazy beyond that. Upon revisiting the translated version, it's clear that the Blood Moon arc marked a significant drop-off, followed by a series of empty, forgettable sections.

When read in its raw form, the narrative began to devolve into a poorly executed fan fiction. The protagonist suddenly jumps from one random world or realm without any logical reason, turning each new location into a setup for bland stories where they meet new love interests. This could have been an intriguing premise, but the author's lack of writing skill ruins it.

Despite the novel being only available up to Chapter 7, its premise has already captivated me. The story revolves around a young boy, chosen by the stars, hence the title 'Star Child.' Initially, he leads an ordinary life as a baker, with no interest in becoming a swordsman. However, circumstances push him to become stronger to avoid being killed by his four formidable ex-girlfriends from his past life (he possesses a unique ability that allows him to resurrect after each demise). Power seems to be gained through trials presented by his spirit, a lovable character referred to as a spirit guide. The first trial involves conquering a beauty.

In essence, the narrative combines humor and comedy, making it a delightful read worth your time. I'll update my thoughts once I progress further.

Ahhh understood

Every time I come across this, I can't help but mentally hum Gir's "Doom Song" from Invader Zim. It's a strange comparison, but if I had just one percent of Yun Xi's troubles, I'd consider myself fortunate. The issue is, his natural charm with women often lands him in hot water – they either become overly jealous and possessive, or their emotions escalate to that very same state due to him. Even an entire planet of 'harem' wouldn't be enough to satisfy them, let alone the super-powered girls or goddess-like beings who might also fancy him.

Reading about Yun Xi's life feels like watching a high-stakes acrobatic performance on a razor's edge. And to make matters worse, he isn't exactly the brightest bulb in the box – though being a genius wouldn't necessarily save him either. His encounters with sexual situations tend to spiral out of his control, turning into a series of escalating disasters.
