Leta is a young woman working as a black market Delver in the bowels of the futuristic Central City, entering the memories of the recently-deceased on commission from various clients. Most of her work is tedious and thankless- hashing out the details of inheritance or dealing with family members squabbling over custody arrangements. Leta has lost all passion for her job and has committed herself to the cardinal rule of being a Delver: never lose yourself within the memories. One day, however, she accepts a commission from a client who seemingly has it all- and finds herself sucked into a thrilling criminal mystery that threatens to expose the secrets she holds closest to her chest.
